There are two ways of doing this : If there are specified file paths for the content More often than not you will see that there are file paths specified for the various items in the zip file. If this is the case then all you have to do is to select extract, make sure that use file paths is ticked in the bottom right hand corner of the select screen, then choose your vue library using the search tools in the main part of the scene. The files will extract automatically to your vue library and can be found there. If there are no file paths specified in the zip file (which on rare occasions there won’t be!) you will need to extract : .vob files to the folder of your choice in the objects folder of your vue library,. .veg files to the folder of your choice inside the plants folder in your vue library. .mat files to the folder of your choice inside the materials folder in your vue library. .atm files to the folder of your choice inside the atmospheres folder in your vue library. Instructions: To turn your terrain or object in to a Skull Pile, simply load the object or terrain in to the scene and edit and size as normal, then add the rock pile ecosystem of your choice, and make sure that the ecosystem is populated, . Also generally speaking the larger the terrain the better. But as you are not using the terrain surface, a 256 x256 scale is perfect in the terrain editor. Because of the way in which the ecosystem is populated, the skin of the object will be invisible, and the eco objects will be piled within it. It will take on the approximate shape of the object. Some parts will below the actual object surface and some will poke above it. You may need to move the object vertically to fully appreciate the Skull Pile you have created as due to the nature of the material the objects tend to populate slightly below the surface. Changing Skull Pile : To change your Skull pile simply swap materials and repopulate the ecosystem. Due to a feature of vues ecosystem technology you may some times find that when you change the ecosystem material of the scull pile it does not change the material applied to the skulls, if this happens, delete the object and replace it with a new one and then populate it with the ecosystem you want. Layering textures : The textures can be layered to create a more convincing effect by duplicating the object they are applied to and resizing it to fit under of over the original then retexture and populate the duplicate with another junk yard texture or even one of my rock pile textures if you have them. An ideal texture for layering is the tyres and weeds ecosystem as it has more gaps in it than most and looks great as a top layer over the others!
