Merlin's Medieval Axes By Merlin_Studios 10th January 2009 Product description: 4 highly detailed medieval axes in 3DS and VOB file format. Each axe has a texture, specular and bump map supplied as 2048x2048 jpegs. The first is the Bearded axe, used by the Vikings as a tool and weapon, as early as the 6th century AD. Next is the Crusader axe, used by King Richard the Lionhearts knights in the 3rd Crusade in 1189 A.D. Then comes the 2 handed battle axe, designed specifically as a weapon rather than doubling as a work tool in around 1250 A.D. Lastly is the mighty Scottish Lochaber axe, used around 1600 A.D. in the highlands as a defence against cavalry. Total of 4 unique models and 12 maps. System Requirements: The models have been tested successfully in Vue 5 and 6, Poser 7 and 3D Studio Max 8 for PC. All of this product's content was created by Merlin_Studios.
