POSES There are seven poses in this pack which can be used on any of the Skeleton model variations. Aye Aye Captain - A saluting pose for when the Pirate acknowledges an order. Bow - A flourishing bow from the waist. En Garde - A typical sword dueling stance for use with the cutlass. Hearty Laugh - A deep belly laugh pose. On Crutch - A pose used with the crutch prop for the crippled pirate. Pile of Bones - A collapsed pose of a dead and decomposed pirate. Surrender - A stance of defeat and surrender. As this is the third addon pack to the Skeleton Bones Pack this weapon hand pose is the same as the one included in the first addon pack titled 'The Blood Mummy'. To prevent unnecessary cluttering of the 'Hand Library' this same pose has been included in this pack. Although there is no Axe prop this hand pose will work with both the Cutlass and Knife weapon props in this pack. The PirateDamned_Runtime.zip is then unzipped to your runtime folder in Poser. As an example if you installed Poser 6 using the programs default installation path then you need to unzip this file to: C:Program Files/Curious Labs/Poser 6 The installation will create the required sub folders under the runtime folder of your Poser installation. If your installation of Poser was not installed to the location as described above then unzip the PirateDamned_Runtime.zip to the folder named 'Poser{version no.}' on your computer. DAZ STUDIO: Unzip the downloaded MESH MANGLERS product file to a temporary folder on your computer. The PirateDamned_Runtime.zip is then unzipped to your 'content' folder in DAZ Studio. The figure file presets will load with the standard plain bone texture or the bloodied plain bone texture. To change the base skeleton texture use the MAT Poses. For example - The intention is to have the following in a Pirate combination: Bloodied Costume/Bloodied Dark Bone Skeleton Base/Blue Eyes/Toothless. To do this follow these steps: 1. From the figure file selection load the 'Pirate - Bloody' preset. 2. Go to the Poses folder and select the 'Skeleton Toothless11' MAT Pose. INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSING THE PEG LEG: The Pirate Skeleton figure files load with the left hand, and the right leg and foot visibility turned OFF. The peg leg is parented to the now invisible right shin. In order to properly pose the peg leg use the Pirate Skeletons right shin and foot body parts. Translations and rotations resulting from selecting the peg leg directly will move/rotate the peg leg away from the skeleton body. This may be the result you are looking for but it can cause unexpected results if you are not aware of the peg leg setup. For best results when using the Crutch prop please use the "On Crutch" pose. Please see the read-me for the Skeleton Bones Pack for additional tips on creating combinations between the skeleton and skull character meshes. If you have also purchased the Blood Mummy and/or the Undead Warrior add-on packs from Mesh Manglers then you can interchange props from all three packs to create unique combinations. Some additional scaling of props may be necessary such as combining the Pirates shoulder belt with the Undead Warriors chest armour.
