She's loaded with options, including regular or elf ears, petite features, natural skin or 8 makeup options, 20 eye colors, realistic or toon brows, a bikini texture and more! All textures include both diffuse and bump textures as well as advanced Poser shader options. (example: C:\program files\smithmicro\Poser8\ ). - The check box "Use Folder names" must be marked so that all files will placed in the correct path. ADDITIONAL TIPS FOR HOW TO USE THESE FILES: Once you have installed the zip file into your Runtime: - The files you will be using regularly are found in the "Pose" and "Material" directories. - First, load the Skye figure from the "Figure" directory in the Pose room. - Go to the 3D Universe Pose folder that came with Skye and turn the Eye Tool OFF. You don't have to do this...but if you don't, she'll continue to have the "cross-eyed" look that comes with Skye. - To apply/inject the morph for the character, go to the Pose Room and choose the Pose directory. Choose the "INJ" file for the character to inject the morph. - Next, apply the full body material by going to the Material Room and choosing the Material directory and click the "full MAT" option. This will apply both the textures and the appropriate shaders. (You can also do this from the Pose room using the Pose directory. Remember: In Poser 8, you HAVE TO be in the Material Room to apply materials from the Material Directory, despite the fact that you can see the material files in other rooms. Alternatively, you can apply the materials using the pz2 files in the Pose folder in any room.) - While in the Material room, navigate the appropriate folders to apply your choice of eye colors, makeup options, brows, etc. - Once you've added your selections, if you'd rather not have a shader applied (the shader is what gives the texture reflectivity and shine), click the "No Shader" option from the Material directory. This will preserve your selections but remove the shader (and set the diffuse color to white). If you change your mind and want to re-add the shaders, you'll need to apply the full MAT again and then select your makeup. NOTE: It may take a moment for Poser to recalculate this (and you may even need to click on the materials for the change to display without shaders. (That's a Poser quirk.) - If you want to remove the eye shine (specular settings) from her eyes you can remove all specular settings by clicking the button to do so. - If during posing (especially when applying universal poses) her eyes get "out of whack", click the Eye Fix pose and her eyes will return to Sunny's proper eye location. - The elf ears can be injected and removed using the appropriate poses in the Sunny pose folder. The ears CAN be used without using the Sunny character. (Please do NOT redistribute these ears with any other Skye character; this would violate this product's license / EULA). - To remove the morph for the character, go to the Pose Room and choose the Pose directory. Choose the "REM" file for the character to remove the morph. - To remove the textures and thereby reset Skye's textures, go to the Pose Room and, from the Pose directory, choose the Restore Skey Textures option and it will restore the default Skye textures. -------------------------------------------------- 8) Usage Tips/Limitations -------------------------------------------------- PLEASE READ THE LICENSE FILE (END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT - EULA) FOR IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT THE LICENSE FOR THIS PRODUCT AND TERMS OF USE. This product may not be redistributed in any format, in whole or in part. This is NOT a merchant resource. This product may not be shared with anyone other than the purchaser. These files have been created to be suitable even for students and educational settings. Therefore, no nipple or genital details have been included. She's as anatomically correct as most little girls' dolls in the United States. No hair, clothing, accessories or figures are included in this package. However, a texture for Skye's bikini (top and bottom) is included. Only skin/eye/mouth textures, bikini textures, and custom-crafted facial, elf ear and belly-button morphs have been included. Sunny's torso has not been morphed except the belly button; the limbs were not morphed at all; therefore, she should fit into all of Skye's clothing. All backgrounds are photographs personally taken by Andolaurina LLC. All rights reserved. Hair model used: Ponytail Hair, which is part of 3D Universe's Sadie Hairstylz Pack. To fit this to Sunny, scale the hair to 85%. Change the zTran to 0.05 and the yTran to 0.05. (Tinker with the settings as needed.) RENDER TIPS: - I would suggest using the Poser Firefly engine for renders (all promotional renders show Poser Pro and Poser 8 Firefly renders). If you choose to use this character in an earlier version of Poser with the Poser 4 render engine, you may have better results if you turn the displacement maps setting off. - In Render Settings, make sure you turn raytracing and displacement maps on. I'd suggest choosing "smooth polygons" as well (unless you use Indirect Light, which can conflict with each other). - If you use the Automatic Settings, you'll need to set it at "Final" or close to Final in order to see the reflections and transluence of the materials properly. - If you use the Manual Settings tab for Firefly in the Render settings, set the Raytrace Bounces to at least 4. LIGHTING TIPS: All the lights in the promotional renders are very basic lights. No indirect light, IBL, Ambient Occlusion, special gels or HDRI was used. A mix of lights were used to give you a feel for different lighting. Some were white lights and other lights had a "peachy" hue (all without shadows).
