Author: VanishingPoint Directions: Extract the files into the specified folders: Put the obj and CR2/rsr/png (figure files) into Runtime\Libraries\Character\VPM1\US_Paratrooper_WW2 Put the pz2 and png (pose files) into Runtime\Libraries\Pose\VPM1\ Put the hr2 and png (hair files) into Runtime\Libraries\Hair\VPM1\ Put the hd2 and png (hand files) into Runtime\Libraries\Hand\VPM1\ Put the jpg files (textures) into Runtime\Textures\VPM1 Put the Lipsync files into Runtime\Lipsync Using the figure: 1) Start Poser. 2) Go to the Character > VPM1 > US_Paratrooper_WW2 3) Add the figure to your scene. 4) The figure follows all normal Poser controls for a figure. The are advanced controls on the collars and neck body groups, as well as on the hands. 5) IK chains are included for the legs and arms, and are on by default on the legs when loading the figure. 6) The figure is compatible with the Poser 7 talk designer, as well as third party applications MIMIC and Poserspeak. 7) The figure is compatible with the Poser walk designer. 8) Three different MAt files are included for the included hairstyle, which was designed specifically to work with headgear such as helmets and caps. 9) The product includes a helmet, with an option net to cover it, and morphs to move the straps. 10) A hand file and setup poses are included to aloow the setup of the character with the weapon. To do this, first load the character and the weapon. Then, while the character is selected, apply the !M1A1_SetupChar pose. The select the weapon and apply the !M1A1_SetupGun pose. Then apply the hand pose to make the hand fit the gun. Then parent the gun to the right hand. You can then select the figure and apply any pose, and the gun will be parented to the figure. It is advised that you lock the hand parts after applying the hand pose. 11) To change the ranks or unit flashes, just select the figure, and apply the rank or unit flash from the pose library. There are MAT pose files included to remove any ranks or unit flashes you have applied. Select the helmet or cap to apply the MAt files to these.
