Author: VanishingPoint Directions: Extract the files into the specified folders: Put the obj files into Runtime\Geometries\VP\shuttlebay Put the cr2/ png (figure files) into Runtime\Libraries\Character\VP\ShuttleBay Put the jpg files (textures) and gif files (templates) into Runtime\Textures\VP\shuttlebay --The gif files are the texture templates and are not used on the models. They are included in case you want to build your own textures. Using the figures: 1) Start Poser. 2) Go to the Figures > VP > ShuttleBay Library. 3) Add any of the figures to your scene. OR 1) Start Poser 2) File > Open the existing scene file To hide and show the walls: 1) Go to the Poses > VP > ShuttleBay Library. 2) Select any of the poses and apply them to the ShuttleBay. Note: if you have more than one figure in your scene, make sure to select the ShuttleBay before applying the hide/ show pose. To use the camera files: 1) Go to the Cameras > VP > ShuttleBay Library. 2) Select any of the camera presets. Note: the camera preset will automatically hide any wall which may be blocking the viewing angle. Notes: This model includes a floor, so make sure to hide Poser's ground plane. Go to Display > Guides > Ground Plane (unchecked). When you load the Shuttle Bay into the scene, the middle platform will line up directly beneath the Earth Shuttle (available separately, where you purchased this product). Although the Bay Door (the lift in the center of the floor) can move downwards, there is no lower level. The uppper level is 1 Poser units high. When you add your figures (or hallway) to the scene, change the yTrans dial to 1.0 to place them on the upper level. To make your own signage: 1) Add the Sign to your scene. 2) Resize it as needed by adjusting the xScale and zScale. 2a) Make a note of the dimensions, for example: 200% x 50%. 3) Open your image-editting program and create a new file with the same proportions. In this case 4x1. 4) Create a white-on-black image to be used as a transparency map and save it as a jpg image. 5) Go back to Poser, open the Material Room, and apply the image as a transparency map. (Adjust the color to suit your taste.) For best results, render with at least 4 ray-traced bounces. It probably goes without saying, but this model is not designed for use with the Poser 4 Renderer. If you are still using Poser 4 (or below), I highly recommend upgrading to at least Poser 5.
