Janet Lowry 2009 and may not be redistributed in any form. -------------------------------------- Needed Files: -------------------------------------- Victoria 4 base -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: -------------------------------------- This package has NOT been tested in Poser 4, Poser 5, or Daz Studio Fighting Fae Armor. This Armor comprises six individual pieces Arm Armor, Chest Armor, Leg Armor, Loin Armor and Left and Right foot armor also included is a sword prop which has been saved in three versions, Smart propped to the Right hand, Smart propped to the Left hand, and free standing so that you can place it where you like, ( maybe in the scabbard on the Loin Armor ) Usage tips and techniques. All of the Armor uses displacement maps to give the impression of depth to the rendered images. I therefore recommend that you Check the "Use displacement maps" box when setting up your render settings, Arm Armor, The Paladoms (Shoulder Armor) do not follow the movement of V4 shoulders, this is deliberate and was done to prevent the mesh from distorting or stretching when it inherits V4's movements. Instead dials have been provided to enable you to pose this part of the armor manually, There are dials for Front back, Up down, and Twist, in addition you have the freedom to move the shoulder armor in the X,Y,Z plain also. Poses folder. There are two folders in the Poses/!S37FightingFae Directory. One is the Character INJ poses, for PowerGirl, AS Alice 4, and GND4 and the other !Clothing Mat poses holds the mat poses for loading the textures. there are two different techniques for loading the textures because one set is texturemap based, and the other uses seamless tiled textures and shader nodes. To load the texturemap based files you need to first select the item you wish to apply the texture to ie the Arm Armor, then select the file called Default Arms & Torso. Do this for the Chest Armor also. For the Legs, Loin, and shoes you would select the mat pose called Default Legs & Feet. Obviously if you wish to load the Dark Blue Armor you would select the Arms & Torso and Legs and feet for this color instead etc. The other folder is called Armor and Cloth mats. To load these you just need to select the Armor piece that you wish to load the texture on to and the click on the relevant icon, MetalMat poses will load onto the metal parts of the armor and the leather mat poses will load onto the cloth parts of the armor. This gives you the ability to mix and match the different metals and cloths/leathers as you wish. Magnetize Clothing. It is recommended that the Daz' Magnetize to V4 pose, is only used on the chest armor. The use of the magnetize pose on the other armor pieces may cause unecessary poke thru on some poses and I have found it of little value for this outfit, except for the chest armor which benefits from it's use when V4's arms are raised the armor around her breasts will follow, saving her embarassment :) Character Inj files. I have built the morph fits for my stable of characters into the CR2's of each of the armor pieces, but for all the the other community morph fits ie Alice 4 etc, I have provided Inj/Rem files for each individual piece of armor.
