Thank you for purchasing ImageNation's Wavecutter Prop Set All of this product's content was created by George Lippert (winnston1984) ©2009 IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure to turn off the visibility of the default Poser ground plane in your environment, as it will interfere with the depth of the Wavecutter model. Similarly, toggle the "display shadows" node to off. This will keep Poser from rendering "false" shadows in the wrong places. Necessary textures are located in the appropriate folder. For Poser use: Place the "Runtime" folder in your Poser directory, adding it to the current Runtime folder. The Wavecutter props can be loaded via the "IN Wavecutter" folder in your "Props" directory. Several light files for the scene can be found in the "IN Wavecutter" folder in your "Light" Directory To properly set up your scene, first load the main Wavecutter ship prop. Next, decide which sails you wish to use in your render (furled or unfurled) and load them-- since they are smart props, they will follow your ship however you pose it. Next, determine which lighting scenario you wish to use. For example, to recreate a daytime scene, load the "Ocean Day" and "Sky Day" props. If you wish for your ship to appear in motion, you may load the "wake" prop. Also, you may tilt your ship to simulate wind and wave motions. Finally, navigate to your "Light" directory and locat the Wavecutter lightsets. Load the "day" lightset and you will be ready to render. The same technique can be used to simulate sunset or sunrise and night scenes. The ocean props utilize raytrace reflections to simulate the ship reflecting on the waves. This option can be turned off for quicker rendering. Also, you may save time by simply not loading the ocean surface if your render is focussed on the deck. The panoramic backgrounds will work very well to simulate the ocean environment in that case. ========================================================================================================================== Use the ImageNation Wavecutter Prop Set anywhere you like in either your personal or professional projects, and enjoy!
