How to install WhPool01: ============================= 0.1. Copy files to your runtime libraries 1. How to use WhPool01: =========================== First before you start (optional).... - deactivate 'Ground shadows' (see Display -> Ground Shadows ) - Choose prop 'Ground', open dialogbox and unmark 'visible' Now start and choose one item out of your library Goto Figures -> DMK-Buildings 1.1. Single add of items ------------------------ - 04_Whirlpool_01 (with foundation) - 04_Whirlpool_02 (stand alone) - 04_WhPool_Surface (Water) Optional: - 01_SwPool01_Lights (Pool-lights, Lights -> DMK-LIGHTS -> 01_SwPool01_Lights) 2. How to use the items and build a scenery: ============================================= 2.1. Whirlpool (04_Whirlpool_01) ---------------------------------- This Whirlpool is ready for posing. Move it to the place you decide. The original version includes high textured materials. If you want different textures, please change to (Pose -> DMK-Buildings ) Click on Whirlpool and apply one of the textures. If you like to make part of the pool invisible you can choose poses (Pose -> DMK-Buildings ) for hiding the lower part of the foundation 04_WhPool_P1_visOFF -> hide 04_WhPool_P1_visON -> visible for hiding the rail 04_WhPool_P2_visOFF -> hide 04_WhPool_P2_visON -> visible If you like reflective and polished Chrome or display with low textures choose pose (Pose -> DMK-Buildings ) 04_MATChrome_highTex -> comes along with high texture 04_MATChrome_lowTex -> comes along with low textures If you like your tub made of marble or white ceramic choose pose (Pose -> DMK-Buildings ) 04_MATPool_marble -> tub in marble 04_MATPool_white -> tub in white If you like plain glass (see rail) without design choose (Pose -> DMK-Buildings ) 04_MATGlass_lowTex.pz2 -> plain glass 2.2. Add Pool lights -------------------- If you like night scenes add '04_WhPool_Light' to your display. There is one light build in the pool wall. The light is placed in front of the light glass. Apply (one hook, not 'select' with double hook) to display. Sorry - but if you want to switch off or dimm the light you have to click on each light and correct the value of intensity manually. 2.3. Water ---------- This is the most tricky point of adding (nearly) realistic water into Poser. It is hard as possible to let the water showing in a realistic way. We tried our very best and here we go and show you our way: First add water (04_WhPool_surface) to display. Conform surface to Whirpool. Optional you may change to 'Pose -> DMK-Buildings' and choose some MAT-Poses. Here you can find - 04_MAT_Water_bubble -> bubbling surface - 04_MAT_Water_flat -> jets switched off, means quiet surface Before using '04_MAT_Water_flat' adjust the surface by using dial 'flat' in properties (Click on surface). - flat -> 1.000 flat water - flat -> 0.450 default setting, jets are switched on - flat -> 0.000 troubled surface You can lift the surface up and down in the whirpool by using dial - 'fill tub' 3. Hints: ========= 3.1. make sure you had clicked on right item before you are going to use pose for changing position or textures 3.2. Transparency of the water surface depends on the camera angle. In case your view is from high above change to higher transparency, else decrease transparency down to zero until you got the best result. 3.3. Get best render results with setting on 'Final' and more (Render -> Render Settings -> Fire Fly -> Final) Please note: Best renders may take some time until render is finished 3.4. Please check the limit of texture size if you are going to work with this pack outside Poser 7(SP3), Poser 8 (SP2),OS Windows XP or OS Windows Vista 64 bit Our textures are in size of 5000x3750 pixels. 3.4 Please mind high render time if you choose - high texture - best render settings Render: During out testings highly detailed chrome and water effects needs a couple of minutes to get finished. this is the reason why we havv add some low textures !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
