Mavka Basics - Shirt & Shorts ================================================================== (c) karanta / 2010 ****************************************************************************** All of this product's content was created by karanta (Kerstin Weihe) ****************************************************************************** For using this product you need to have Mavka from smay available at Renderosity ====================================================================================== Unzip all files into you Poser directory All clothes in this set can only be used with the Poser Cloth Room ====================================================================================== All clothes are loading textured into the scene. Templates for the clothes can be found in the folder ..\Runtime\textures\KARANTA\KW_MavkaTopShorts ======================================================================================= Please follow these steps for your first clothing simulation, or have a look at your Poser manual if you are not familiar with the Cloth Room: Load Mavka into your scene: - Click on Mavka, then on "Figure --> Use Inverse Kinematics and make sure all is unchecked. - Click on "Window - Joint Editor" , select Mavka and click on "Zero Figure" - Open your props library folder and load the shirt into your scene. - Open the Cloth Room and click on "New simulation" - You can leave the setting as they are or if you just want to make a quicker try - lower the end frame for example to 15. - Click on "ok" - Click Clothify and choose the shirt - it will be listed under props - then hit Clothify to exit the dialog box. Select Collide Against, then Add/Remove, and choose Mavka and the pants or skirt you want to use together with the shirt. (The simulation will be quicker if you uncheck all bodyparts which will not affect the cloth) Hit "ok". Back in the Collide Against dialog, make sure that the 'Current Collision Object' has Mavka displayed. You may want to enable the 'Start draping from zero pose' option. (Quick hint on Collide settings: Collision Offset is the distance of the cloth from the collision object and Collision Depth is the thickness of the cloth. Play with these numbers as needed to get the results you want). ::::::: Suggestion from me ::::::: Change collision offset and depth both to 0.5 ============================================== - Click on "ok" If you use the default settings (30 frames), go to about frame 15 and add a pose to Mavka. I never apply the pose in the last (30th) frame. You will get nicer and smoother folds if you have some frames after the frame you added the pose. When the simulation is finished and the result is to smooth for your taste, you can always go a few frames back. - Click on "calculate simulation". Make a second simulation for the shorts and follow the instructions above again. (It's not important if you make the shorts or shirt simulation first) ---------------------------------------------- It will take a bit time until the simulation will be done. How much time depends on you computer. If you are not satisfied with the result you have, you can play around with the fabric settings. Changes in the settings can give a large difference for the end result of the simulation. I often use different fabric settings for different poses. There is nothing like "best settings" for a pose. Please have a look at your manual for further, detailed informations to get the best settings for the look you want. When the simulation is done, go back to the Pose Room, add hair and you are ready for making some beautiful renders :) I hope you'll have a lot of fun with your new set :) Happy Rendering :) Kerstin (karanta) =================================================================== Filelist: license0409.txt .\Runtime\Geometries\karanta\ karanta-Mavka_CLset1-Shorts.obj karanta-Mavka_CLset1-Top.obj ..\Runtime\libraries\Materials\karanta\Mavka Top and Shorts\ Shorts 01.mc6 Shorts 01.png Shorts 02.mc6 Shorts 02.png Shorts 03.mc6 Shorts 03.png Shorts 04.mc6 Shorts 04.png Shorts 05.mc6 Shorts 05.png Shorts 06.mc6 Shorts 06.png Shorts 07.mc6 Shorts 07.png Shorts 08.mc6 Shorts 08.png Shorts 09.mc6 Shorts 09.png Shorts 10.mc6 Shorts 10.png Top 01.mc6 Top 01.png Top 02.mc6 Top 02.png Top 03.mc6 Top 03.png Top 04.mc6 Top 04.png Top 05.mc6 Top 05.png Top 06.mc6 Top 06.png Top 07.mc6 Top 07.png Top 08.mc6 Top 08.png Top 09.mc6 Top 09.png Top 10.mc6 Top 10.png ..\Runtime\libraries\Props\Karanta\Mavka\ S+T Shorts.png S+T Shorts.pp2 S+T Top.png S+T Top.pp2 ..\Runtime\Readme\ karanta-MavkaShortsAndShirt.txt ..\Runtime\textures\KARANTA\KW_MavkaTopShorts\ karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Shorts01.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Shorts01B.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Shorts01Temp.png karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Shorts02.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Shorts03.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Shorts04.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Shorts05.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Shorts06.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Shorts07.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Shorts08.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Shorts09.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Shorts10.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Top01.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Top01B.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Top01Temp.png karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Top02.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Top03.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Top04.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Top05.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Top06.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Top07.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Top08.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Top09.jpg karanta-Mavka_CLS1_Top10.jpg
