The main feature is real human skull used as hull for which is used skull of fallen famous military leader to give symbolic chance to fight for his cause even after death. Sentry skull fulfill various task main in guarding perimeters and interiors of various bases and military instalation. It comes in several variants or configuration according its armamanet and equipment. The lightest variant - "Screaming Skull" is equiped only with audioprocessing unit - "The SireneL serving for realising prerecording audiowarning for any intruder found in guarded space. In case of defense, Screaming Skull is able to set high-pitch acoustic alarm for calling reinforcements or even to scare the enemy. The second variant is "Lightning Skull" equiped with high frequency tesla gun, able to stun living or mechanical intruder with several electric bolts. It is used mainly in interior spaces where heavier weaponry is not safe. Third variant "Flaming Skull" is equiped with flamethrower nicknamed "Flamegun". This configuration is used mostly for larger exterior perimeter duties and is able to destroy not only living hostiles but also mechanical and lightly armored vehicles or droids. Finaly the fourthm most heavily eqiped variant is called "The Enforcer" and is armed both with tesla gun and flame gun. It used for various kind of task and is considered as universal guarding device. Sentry Skull hovers in small altitudes thanks to its central airturbine located in the bottom of machine´s chassiss. Aditional directional controls are managed via dual rocket thrusters at the rear part od unit. Sentry Skull is capable of independent decision making but in case of emergency it is able to maintain communication link with manned operation center. Although it may look like cyborg device, it is pure sentinet machine - the human remnants are used only for symbolic and decorative reasons. Unit is able perform absolutely the same way without human skull shell, and sometimes, when proper skull trophy is not right available it is quite common practice. You will find the items in Characters and Props folders named Sentry Skull. Mesh, textures and reflection map are stored in respective folders. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: In folder Characters you will find main unit figure called Sentry Skull. This load to exact postion as human skull from DAZ product Bonez (product code: ps_mr168b ) or any other generation 3 skeleton (V3 or M3), although for whole skeleton figures is better to export and reimport just the skull. If you use generation 4 skeletons (V4 or M4) or DAZ product Morphing skull (product code: ps_ac016) you probably need to do some repostioning and or rescaling. Once you have both items aligned parent them together (for sentry skull set figure parent to other skull figure´s body or vice versa). If you use simple 3d model of human skull (there are couple of them available for free on internet), or if you use reimported obj from figure - you just parent it to Sentry skull body. If you plan to use some skull model with unusual proportion (or morphed) you may need adjust postion of mechanical eyes and ears (as bodyparts) on provided dials.For more dynamic shots you can use multidirectional balljoint used for swiveling chassiss with weapons, turbine and engines. Sentry Skull is made with several smartprops used for customization of your model. CPU unit is useful to load only if you use transparency map on any DAZ skeleton texture (but not Morphing Skull), so the skull of you unit will be cracked open - or if paln to use Sentry Skull model without any skull model at all. Otherwise the CPU unit is useless since it will be not visible. As a part of this product there are two bonus feature - two textures overlay usable with any od DAZ skeleton texture (although the "Dirty" variant is more suitable for that) with the name of unfortunate fallen commander Marcus Hammerhand written on the skull forehead and number XVII for legion which was lead by Marcus. To use them, you need to join them (flatten) with original DAZ texture (you may want to make backup copy before that). File "dirtyskulltextureoverlay.png" is used for flattening with color map, while "dirtyskulltextureoverlay_bump.png" is used - surprisingly - with original DAZ bump map. The second feature is transparency map for crack opening the left side of skull dome, so the CPU unit unverneath may be visible. You need to load this map into transparency map slot and set "falloff" to zero. You may than load stabilisator fins which add to technicist look of the machine, floodlight some or both weapons - Tesla gun on starboard - used for stunning living opposition or flamethrower on port for destroying material and vehicles.
