Ornate knotwork animals decorated everything from jewelry to holy books in the Celtic world.  They show the influence of the varied influences brought to the Celts including the Norse and Romans. While the meaning of many of these symbols has been lost, their complexity and aesthetic appeal transcend their original intent. Traditional materials and contemporary media mix in these 15 designs with several variations. At 300 dpi on a transparent background with no drop shadows, these large high resolution images are perfect for both print and web applications. Please see readme file for exact sizes. The background in the promotional images is not included.
