Product name: Argus *Copyright 18 07 10 *By: Gabriel Montagudo Ownership Statement: All of this product's content was created by Gabriel Montagudo Description: Hi-poly model of a fantasy heavy truck, mainly intended for bryce users, in several formats: 3ds, max, Obp. and Obj. It's hauling time! The Argus sports 24 wheels, there isn't a load that this beast cannot carry! Four direcctional wheels ensures good handling in tight turns and parking. there is the possibility to hide some parts and convert it into two types of flatbed truck. Bryce format(obp) is poseable: you can open the cargo door, jacknife the trailer and turn the four directional wheels. System Requirements: PC and Mac compatible Bryce 3dmax Any app that supports 3ds and Obj. Tips and limitations: No interior in the tractor, opaque glass windows. It will import in Poser, although it will need adjustments in the material editor and smoothing. A more Poser ready version will soon be published. For 3d max users, smooth and symmetry modifiers are active. No hierarchies or rigging, standard materials only. Bryce users get a set of cool automotive car paints ,ready to import into your Bryce material library. Only for Bryce users: To help you select areas of this model without ungrouping ( and losing the rigging...) I divided it in several Bryce families. Family 2 selects the glass in the tractor Family 3 selects all the chrome parts. Family 5 selects the upper bodywork color and trailertop. Family 6 selects middle bodywork color, and trailer middle Family 7 selects lower bodywork color Family 9 selects cargo floor. Family 16 selects trailer legend, you can make your own using the template included. Family 17 selects tractor front legend. Family 18 selects the front lights, you can turn them off or change type, intensity, etc. For posing this truck in Bryce: Main object in the hierarchy is called "Argus Globetrotter".You select this one and the rest of the model follows. Here we use families again: Family 24 selects all the directional wheels, use this family to turn the wheels in the y axis. Family 19 selects the "hinge" for the back door. Rotate by the x axis to open and close the door. Do this before you rotate the trailer. When fully open it will become a loading ramp. Use a -58 degree opening. Family 20 selects the articulation point for the trailer, turn this object in the y axis for jacknifing the trailer. You can delete or hide the group called " A trailer top" and the back door to have a flatbed trailer! list of files included in this zip: \argus3ds,max,obj\documentation\ argusreadme.txt license.txt \argus3ds,max,obj\argus obj\ Argus globetrotter.mtl Argus globetrotter.obj \argus3ds,max,obj\argus max\ ARGUS3_.max \argus3ds,max,obj\argus 3ds\ Argus globetrotter.3DS \argus3ds,max,obj\argus textures\ CHROMIC.jpg HEAV.jpg LEGEND.jpg LEGEND1.jpg LEGEND12.jpg LICEN.jpg WIDE LOAD.JPG faro.jpg flash.jpg front.jpg green.jpg mesh.jpg orang.jpg plate.jpg platebu.jpg redli.jpg skirt.jpg skirt2.jpg tyre.jpg tyre1.jpg wheelcup.jpg If you buy this model and like it, Please give it a review.
