The Genesis Barrel ring is a ring prop for use with the Genesis figure in Daz Studio 4.
The ring can be loaded to one or all of eleven locations on your Genesis character or as a standalone prop.
Once loaded you can apply one of 21 material presets and adjust the ring with the included morphs.
The ring is compatible with most pose controls and morphs. Though some distortion may occur when the finger are bent tightly.

Whats Included
11 conforming figure props for each of the rings different locations
Left Hand - Middle Finger 01 and 02, Ring Finger, Thumb
Left Hand - Middle Finger 01 and 02, Ring Finger, Thumb
Left and Right Toe
2 Morphs for each Ring position. SLIDE and GEM SIZE
21 Material Presets
14 Texture Maps

Installation Instructions:



In the product zip folder there are two folders 

the My library folder will need to be merged into your content Library.

/My Library

/Documents



You should be able to find your "My library" folder at the following path this is where most of your Daz Products will need to be installed/unzipped/merged



PC USERS (WINDOWS VISTA, WINDOWS 7)

C:\users\[your user account]\My Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library



DS4 Default Content Install Path, Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\[Your User Account]\My Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library 



DS4 Default Content Install Path, Mac
Users
\[Your User Account]\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library



In Daz 3 it was known as the content folder.

You can either merge the two "My Library" Folders or Unzip the product folder as described below.



To Install when Unzipping for Windows 7:

Unzip files to
C\Users\your user account\Documents\DAZ 3d\Studio



or for Mac
Unzip files to Users\[Your User Account]\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio 
(Only if you can merge folders)



This will put the files into "My Library" and ready to use.

You may need to refresh your metadata in Daz Studio after install to show as smart content

Usage Tips or Limitations:

You can find the ring prop in your smart content once you have refreshed your metadata in Daz Stufio or in your normal content directory under 'products'-G-Genesis Barrel Ring.

You can find the props directly in Daz Studio~/People/Genesis/Props/Gen Barrel Ring

Limitation,
Every effort was made to keep mesh integrity as stable as possible across poses and morphs. However you may experience some mesh distortion on some Poses and morphs.

Tips
You can save or copy different material sections and apply them to a different ring or object.

Best results are achieved when rendered in an environment as reflection is used on most surfaces
