PRODUCT NAME: Gunship GS-78 (Copyright: 2012) VENDOR NAME: This product created by Lew Fraga (thundering1) PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This Sci-Fi themed heavy armored fighter jet model from THUNDERING1 consists of: * 1 x Gunship GS-78 in .obj format * 3 x Textures for a scratched and weathered appearance. * 3 x Textures for a clean appearance * Smart Prop and Light Set to simulate "Engine Glow" * UV Map templates SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: This product is supplied as a .zip file suitable for PCs' or Macs' This product is suitable for Bryce, Vue, Cinema 4D, 3DS Max, Maya. This product can also be used in any 3D software that reads and imports .obj files. NEEDED FILES: There are no additional files needed to use this product. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: POSER: Unzip the downloaded THUNDERING1 product file to your runtime folder in Poser. As an example if you installed Poser 6 using the programs default installation path then you need to unzip this file to: C:Program Files/Curious Labs/Poser 6 The installation will create the required sub folders under the runtime folder of your Poser installation. If your installation of Poser was not installed to the location as described above then unzip the THUNDERING1 product file to the folder named 'Poser{version no.}' on your computer. DAZ STUDIO: Unzip the downloaded THUNDERING1 product file to your 'content' folder in DAZ Studio. As an example if you installed DAZ Studio 3 using the programs default installation path then you need to unzip this file to: C:/Users/(UserName)/Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio3/content For further help on installing or locating installed files in DAZ Studio please visit the support page at DAZ. For all other programs import the .obj file and assign the textures in the Poser>Runtime>textures>Thundering1>Gunship-GS78 folder. USAGE TIPS / LIMITATIONS: All textures are 2048x2048. When the Gunship loads - by default the "Engine Glow" SmartProps load automatically but the visibiity is turned off. To turn them on select the Gunship and in the scene element list choose "Props". You will see L_Engine Glow and R_Engine Glow listed. Select each in turn and turn the props visibility "ON" under the "Properties" tab. To use the "Engine Glow" lights set, which are parented to the Gunship thrusters, go to the Lights library and open Light Sets>Thundering1>Gunship GS-78. Load the Light Set named "Engine Glow". This will deactivate all other lights already loaded in the scene. Re-activate all other required lights. The engine glow lights point light fall off has been adjusted so that the illumination from the Gunship engines is not excessive. For the engine glow lights to be visible there needs to be a mesh object for the lights to reflect off. The Poser default ground plane will not do this, so as a minimum you must load one of the Poser primitive square planes from the props library.
