It share the same visual style as my other products like Steampunk Street, Steampunk Cathedral and both Steampunk Castle Construction Kits (1 - Old Donjon, 2 - Steam Plant and 3 Priory of the Steam, 4 World Dominance) so using all products together is well intended and works well. Also my other products like Airship Cabin and Airship Hull or Balloon Victoria can be used with all these products very well. Using of Point Nemo Lighthouse is quite easy and quite similar as use of my other construction kits or poser playsets products. Using of these items depends on your personal preferences. There are three main workflow styles for using these items: Instant Play Model comes in two main prop presets and several other independent props. Except for these two presets, all additional props are loaded in zero position and are labeled as 0-0. Loading both presets - Pylon set and Lighthouse Tower, loads you all content into scene at once. Pylon set is preloaded with all additional props like naval clutter, variety of old props like buoy, mine, torpedo, discarded fishing nets, barrels with kerosene, crates and so on. Some of pylon´s feature like gangplank, ladders and corridor gallery are this time part of mesh, since are place specific and using them on different spot have no sense. Upper terrace prop can be removed to reveal hangar space (technical level) beneath. This space can be filled with various machinery models like oil tanks, pumping station and so on, for example from my other models. Crane model can rotate along vertical axe and can also be used as independent prop. If you need longer rope variant, just delete "hook" prop and load "long rope" prop, which is smart parented to crane. Lighthouse tower comes as preset made from base prop and tower itself. Further there is lantern prop, which can rotate along vertical axe (and along with loaded light beam props) and also glass protective sheet for lantern, which you may use or as well delete, if you prefer different look of lantern. Ocean prop is not included in this product, but I can recommend you Poser Ocean by RubiconDigital (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/poser-ocean/85345) For the best render result you can choose provided light presets. Model and textures are suitable for long distance shots as well as for close ups. Provided camera presets should give you basic knowledge of model topography. For actual rendering you may need to adjust camera position slightly. Modify (usable for all Steampunk Castle Construction Kit products) The second workflow style presumes you will load the premade presets and want the slightly or considerably modify it, edit it… It is midway style between instant play and building from scratch, since you will use most of presets configuration but you will alter it according to your needs. You can for example delete some part of preset (such as towers, gangplanks, armature plates and so on.) You may also need to duplicate some feature, such as windows, doors, turrets and so on. For example, if you need to build non-fantasy – non steampunk type of building, you can just delete all steampunk style stuff like pipes, armatures, and so on. For duplicating features like windows you can do so at… For parented props you will be asked if you want duplicate also the parent, which may or may not help you with placement of cloned prop. Choose either possibility according your actual need. For placing or moving the props may be better to use orthogonal cameras which will help you more precisely place the item. You can resave sour modified presets to the library for next use. Build from Scratch (usable for all Steampunk Castle Construction Kit products) Building from scratch is possibly the most creative work with any construction set content items. With all other Steampunk Castle Construction Kit Sets you can built wide array of interesting fantastic of historical correct structures. You will start with loading any presets and choosing its individual parts for resaving. This way you can make your own presets or semi-presets used for further building. For building from scratch you generally use all guidelines provided above, but you definitely use more creativity. The best is probably either load some of provided preset and then cannibalize it – delete parts you don’t need and resave the rest or just choose parts you like and these save into library. You can thus make your own presets or semi-presets and then use them for your own projects. In such work you are limited only by your imagination and fantasy. Most of objects are closed boxes so you can rotate them, translate and intersect with any other objects. You can even resize them, but be frugal and do not stretch it too much otherwise the textures will look bad. If you do so, you can use some procedural materials for which the stretching of UVs is not a problem. Don’t forget, you can use only a part of objects and the rests you can hide into terrain, into other objects or even out of camera view. You can use some objects in totally different way. Doors and windows are modeled as deeper boxes, so you can sink them into surface as far as needed, just be sure, the surface of the glass (usually the “blindglass” material) is still visible. All windows are set to glow in low density lightning by using their ambient attribute. Included are several scenic props like walls, balustrades, fountain, monuments or even all of the machineries. These can be used alone for any other projects of yours. Model is completely UV mapped. For certain parts of models are provided texture templates, other material zones are textured by procedural materials or by tiled textures and templates are not applicable for them. Tiled textures and procedural materials may need adjustments in DAZ studio, Carrara or other 3d applications. All poser props have extracted geometry to obj. mesh files which you can use for importing to other modeling or rendering application. One or more textures on this 3D model have been created with images from CGTextures.com. These images may not be redistributed by default, please visit www.cgtextures.com for more information. -------------------------------------- Files Included in the Product: \Documentation license.txt Point_Nemo_Lighthouse_README.txt \Promos PointNemo 1 CONCEPT.jpg PointNemo 2 FEATURE.jpg PointNemo 3 FEATURE.jpg PointNemo 4 LIGHTHOUSE.jpg PointNemo 5 LIGHTHOUSE.jpg PointNemo 6 PYLON.jpg PointNemo 7 PROPS kopie.jpg PointNemo 8 INTEGRATION.jpg PointNemo 9 EXAMPLES.jpg PointNemo MAIN PROMO.jpg PointNemo THUMB.jpg \Runtime\Geometries\Point Nemo anchor.obj barrel.obj base.obj boat.obj buoy.obj cone.obj crane.obj crate.obj cylinder.obj gangplanks.obj hook.obj lantern.obj lanterncover.obj lightbeams.obj longrope.obj navalmine.obj nets1.obj nets2.obj oarL1.obj oarL2.obj oarR1.obj oarR2.obj oarsfolded.obj pylon.obj rudder.obj shack.obj skylight.obj terrace.obj torpedoe.obj tower.obj \Runtime\Libraries\Camera\Point Nemo 01.cm2 01.png 02.cm2 02.png 03.cm2 03.png 04.cm2 04.png 05.cm2 05.png 06.cm2 06.png 07.cm2 07.png 08.cm2 08.png 09.cm2 09.png 10.cm2 10.png 11.cm2 11.png 12.cm2 12.png 13.cm2 13.png 14.cm2 14.png 15.cm2 15.png 16.cm2 16.png 17.cm2 17.png 18.cm2 18.png 19.cm2 19.png 20.cm2 20.png \Runtime\Libraries\Light\Point Nemo PointNemo Daylight.lt2 PointNemo Daylight.png PointNemo Nightlight.lt2 PointNemo Nightlight.png PointNemo Sunset.lt2 PointNemo Sunset.png \Runtime\Libraries\Props\Point Nemo 0-0 Anchor.png 0-0 Anchor.pp2 0-0 Barrel 1.png 0-0 Barrel 1.pp2 0-0 Barrel 2.png 0-0 Barrel 2.pp2 0-0 Barrel 3.png 0-0 Barrel 3.pp2 0-0 Boat.png 0-0 Boat.pp2 0-0 Buoy.png 0-0 Buoy.pp2 0-0 Concrete Block 1.png 0-0 Concrete Block 1.pp2 0-0 Concrete Block 2.png 0-0 Concrete Block 2.pp2 0-0 Fishing Nets 1.png 0-0 Fishing Nets 1.pp2 0-0 Fishing Nets 2.png 0-0 Fishing Nets 2.pp2 0-0 Naval Mine.png 0-0 Naval Mine.pp2 0-0 Supply Crate.png 0-0 Supply Crate.pp2 0-0 Torpedo.png 0-0 Torpedo.pp2 Light Beams.png Light Beams.pp2 Lighthouse Tower.png Lighthouse Tower.pp2 Long Rope.png Long Rope.pp2 Pylon Set.png Pylon Set.pp2 \Runtime\Textures\Point Nemo cybertenko_pointnemo_aircond.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_barrel1.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_barrel2.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_barrel3.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_base.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_boat.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_boat2.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_buoy.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_cable.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_cable_b.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_concrete1.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_concrete2.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_copper.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_corpus.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_craneshed.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_craneshed2.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_crate.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_cupola2.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_deskV.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_fishnet2.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_fishnet2_B.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_floortile.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_hambrass.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_house.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_iron.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_iron_B.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_iron_s.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_metalplate.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_planksH.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_planksV.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_planksVP copy.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_pylon.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_pylon2.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_pylonbase.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_redrust.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_rust1.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_rust2.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_rusted3.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_rusted4.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_terrace.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_toppylon.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_tower.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_treadplate02.jpg cybertenko_pointnemo_verdigris.jpg \Runtime\Textures\Reflection Maps\Point Nemo cybertenko_pointnemo_enviro.jpg \Templates barrel.jpg boat.jpg buoy.jpg corpus.jpg craneshed.jpg craneshed2.jpg crate.jpg cupola.jpg lighthousebase.jpg pylon.jpg pylonbase.jpg shack.jpg toppylon.jpg tower.jpg towerfloors.jpg
