These new styles were created using seamless textures that I made from actual phtographs of snow & ice! You get a variety of 24 icy or snow-filled pale blues, turquoises and lavendars to choose from. --Anytime you need to accent your web or scrapbook pages with anything COLD or FROZEN ie: snow, ice, icicles, snowballs, snowflakes, snowdrifts, ice cubes, etc. all you need to do is click on your style and your layer at the same to time to get that effect! Many in this set have a beautiful glossy finish-some might even be used in place of using colored glass. (You only need to go inside the style and lower the transparency to the level that you want) --Check out the product example pages to get a sampling of some of the ways you might be able to use these styles. As usual, whatever you make with these styles-borders, frames, text, embellishments, etc., will be suitable for either web or print work due to the high resolution of the textures contained inside. --And that's not ALL!! because you will receive a beautiful diamond encrusted snowflake as a free gift with your purchase! Unzip and extract these styles (.asl file) into whereever you keep your Adobe/Photoshop CS (or Photoshop CS2)/Presets/Styles directory. 2. Open Photoshop. 3. If you don't already have your Styles window visible, click on "Window" and then "Styles" 4. In your "Styles" Window, click on the little triangle in a circle, that's pointing to the right. (located in the upper right hand corner below the "open/close") of the styles box 5. Select "Load Styles" from the Drop Down Box 6. Locate and Choose/highlight/load the desired .asl file(s) (.asl file=layer styles extension) into your Photoshop Styles Tool Palette 7. Apply to your layer with one click! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Usage Tips/Special Instructions Quickie Re-Scaling Instructions: "How To Re-Scale/Adjust Layer Styles for Any Size Image in Photoshop" 1) To scale your layer effects go to (menu) Layer > Layer Style > Scale Effects. Or you can access this command from the Layers palette by right-clicking on the small layer effects symbol (looks like an f) on your layer, then choosing the Scale Effects command. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) When you choose Scale Effects, the dialog box "Scale Layer Effects" will appear. You can reduce the scale down as low as 1% to make the effects smaller, or increase the scale up to 1000% to make the effects larger.
