Included is also two different guns, a sword and a shield as well as poses that will let you start your own science fiction adventure. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- System requirements (PC, MAC, or PC/MAC and compatible software versions) Daz 4.5. Tested on Windows. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Needed files Genesis. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation instructions Extract the ZIP archive to a freely chosen place on your hard drive. In DAZ Studios Content Library, right-click on DAZ Studio Formats and select "Add base directory". Select and enter the extracted directory ("PA2 Library") in the file browser and click "Select folder". -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Usage tips/limitations -------------------- 1. Setting up the figure -------------------- All figures, poses and props are found in the following places: Armor and weapons: DAZ Studio Formats > PA2 Library > People > Genesis > Clothing > PA2 Personal Armor Poses: DAZ Studio Formats > PA2 Library > Preset > Poses > PA2 Personal Armor a. Start DAZ Studio and load up Genesis (if it isn't automatically loaded). b. With the Genesis figure selected in the Scene tab, add all armor items from the Content Library (it's possible to select them all and drag them to the Genesis figure. Remember that the character can only hold one gun/sword or gun/shield in each hand. c. Apply any poses or move and adjust the figure to create your own. d. Adjust the fin and rocket positions by clicking on them and use the Universal tool. e. Render! -------------------- 2. Included poses -------------------- a. PA2 Air Attack This pose can be used for flying. After applying this pose, select PA2 Thigh Left and PA2 Thigh Right and use the obj_thigh_l_low/obj_thigh_r_low morphs to move the thigh plate. Adjust the chest (abdomen) plate by selecting PA2 Cheet > Chest plate and rotate it using the X Rotate parameter. This pose is prepared for using the two guns. See the "The guns" section below. -------------------- b. PA2 Attack This pose can be used for (moving) attack poses. After applying this pose, select PA2 Thigh Left and use the obj_thigh_l_low morph to move the thigh plate. This pose is prepared for using the two guns. See the "The guns" section below. -------------------- c. PA2 Ready This pose is a basic "attention" pose, and a good starting point for making your own. This pose is prepared for using the two guns. See the "The guns" section below. -------------------- d. PA2 Swordfight This pose is a good starting point for sword fight poses. It places both arms and hands in the correct positions. After applying the pose, adjust the position of the fin on the left forearm so it doesn't poke through the shield: This pose is prepared for using the sword and the shield. See the "The guns" and "The sword and the shield" sections below. -------------------- e. The guns Both guns are smart parented to the forearms. They use the forearm instead of the hand as there is a connection between the guns and the forarm armor. You can use the PA2 Arm L Gun och PA2 Arm R Gun poses to position the arms and hands before placing the guns (which, as they are smart props, are positioned automatically). This is useful when making your own poses: i) Create your own pose by moving and adjusting the Genesis figure. ii) Apply the PA2 Arm L Gun och PA2 Arm R Gun poses. iii) Insert the weapons (props): PA2 Gun L and PA2 Gun R. The PA2 Air Attack, PA2 Attack and PA2 Ready poses already have their hands and arms in the correct positions for the guns. -------------------- f. The sword and the shield The sword is smart parented to the right hand of M4. The shield is smart parented to the left forearm of M4. Use the PA2 Swordfight pose as a "base" pose when making your own sword/shield-poses. Also see the section on the shield in the "Complete list of morphs" section. -------------------- 3. Adjustment -------------------- Adjust the chest (abdomen) plate by selecting PA2 Cheet > Chest plate and rotate it using the X Rotate parameter. Also see the information on the thigh morphs in the "Complete list of morphs" section below. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Complete list of morphs 1. Both thigh armor pieces contain morphs that adjust the position of the top (yellow) plate. Select PA2 Thigh Left and PA2 Thigh Right and use the obj_thigh_l_low/obj_thigh_r_low morphs to move the thigh plates. 2. The shield also contains a morph that adjusts the angle of the stand, so you can have the shield standing on the ground by itself. In this way, the figure can place the shield on the ground before him, using it as cover, while wielding both guns. As the shield is a smart prop, you have to "un-parent" it from the figure first.
