Set #1 is one of my best selling products and this new jewel-toned faceted set (for Photoshop 7 & Above) is for all of you who have been requesting it. --With such a variety of different colors to choose from, this set is perfect for any type of web or print design that you can imagine creating. I'd like to think that I get better as a digital artist with each year that passes by...so, these are my "new and improved" faceted gem stone layer styles-which includes a faceted white diamond. --Seamless patterns designed at 200-300dpi make these styles suitable for either web or print designs. --PLEASE read the quick mini-tut on how to rescale the patterns inside the layer styles-which is included inside the Readme file. I can't say this enough! Especially with gem stones: you are going to need many different sizes for your designs! Most of my product example pages have the patterns inside the styles scaled waaaay down to the lower end of the scale. So don't be afraid to experiment with your inside patterns and move them up or down with your designs accordingly. In my opinion, THAT feature is what makes layer styles so versatile and fun to work with- since they can be adapted to almost any size design. --Please click on the thumbnails to see styled examples and receive more info on this styles package! Unzip and extract these styles (.asl file) into whereever you keep your Adobe/Photoshop CS (or Photoshop CS2)/Presets/Styles directory. 2. Open Photoshop. 3. If you don't already have your Styles window visible, click on "Window" and then "Styles" 4. In your "Styles" Window, click on the little triangle in a circle, that's pointing to the right. (located in the upper right hand corner below the "open/close") of the styles box 5. Select "Load Styles" from the Drop Down Box 6. Locate and Choose/highlight/load the desired .asl file(s) (.asl file=layer styles extension) into your Photoshop Styles Tool Palette 7. Apply to your layer with one click! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Usage Tips/Special Instructions Quickie Re-Scaling Instructions: "How To Re-Scale/Adjust Layer Styles for Any Size Image in Photoshop" 1) To scale your layer effects go to (menu) Layer > Layer Style > Scale Effects. Or you can access this command from the Layers palette by right-clicking on the small layer effects symbol (looks like an f) on your layer, then choosing the Scale Effects command. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) When you choose Scale Effects, the dialog box "Scale Layer Effects" will appear.
