Frosted Floral Glass Layer Styles for Photoshop 7 & Above Copyright ©2013 Roberta Dugan Created by: fractalartist01/Roberta B. Dugan --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --This new set of 24 layer styles consists of beautifully colored floral prints which have a touch of sparkle added to them for a frosted, glassy effect. While great for Spring & Summer, Easter and Mother's Day...I'm certain you will find yourself using them whenever you want to add a modern/updated floral print to your designs! These styles were created and tested for use in Photoshop 7 & Above. --Yes, the prints themselves are somewhat abstract and muted...but the vivid colors certainly are not! It's just another example of how impressionistic art has such a huge influence on my work. And the fact that the prints are muted will (in my opinion) make the styles more user-friendly for lots of different things-other than flowers. The picture frame product example page is one that illustrates what I mean. --Each style was created with seamless pattterns at 300dpi which makes them suitable for use for either print or digital creations. --Check out some of the product example pages for some ideas on incorporating your new Frosted Floral Glass layer styles into your new, fresh spring and summer designs! And don't be afraid to take a risk and scale your patterns up or down or to layer with different/other styled layers/images as I do in some of the examples. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This package was created for PC and MAC ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Files/Programs needed but not supplied in this archive: -Adobe Photoshop 7 or Above- The current version of Adobe Photoshop can be found here: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/family/?promoid=BPDEK NOTE: These styles have been tested in Photoshop 7, CS and CS2 and above and may not work in other versions of Photoshop ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation Instructions Into Photoshop: 1. Or you can access this command from the Layers palette by right-clicking on the small layer effects symbol (looks like an f) on your layer, then choosing the Scale Effects command. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) When you choose Scale Effects, the dialog box "Scale Layer Effects" will appear. You can reduce the scale down as low as 1% to make the effects smaller, or increase the scale up to 1000% to make the effects larger. {Somewhere in between those settings usually looks best, however} This re-scales every effect used in the Layer Style at once...OR you can just remove/add a shadow, add a stroke or inner bevel, change the pattern scale size, etc. *Checking the "Preview" box will allow you to see as you're adjusting.* --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3) So the next time you download some layer styles and find they don't look quite the same on your own images as they did in the examples, try scaling the effects and see if it makes a difference. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- File List: [File name] cpd_FrostedFloral_Glass.asl cpd_FrostedFloral_Glass_MAIN.jpg Total number of folders = 0 Total number of files = 2 [File name] cpd_FrostedFloral_Glass_readme.txt Renderosity_License.txt Total number of files = 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright notice: You CAN use these styles to create/style any NEW personal or commercial works.
