It is a small versatile multi-purpose vehicle used both as a troop carrier, as a rescue vehicleor to a range of other tasks. The hull is a cylindrical cabin that accommodates up to 11 passengers or soldiers in full battle armor, or 3 tons of cargo. At the top of the cabin is located two turboshaft engines of 1,300 kW, driving the pair of eight-blade propellers in swiveling frames. The cabin is equipped with door, of which the upper part is tipped up, while the rest is folded down, and generates the boarding platform. The interior cabin can accommodate a pair of machine guns for defense of the aircraft. At the root of the airframe is located motor crane with capacity of 500 kg, which can haul both people and cargo on board the aircraft or is used for landing away team units at the roofs of buildings and other difficult to access areas. The cabin can be equipped with different variants of the features according to the needs of the mission. Crew conists of two pilots, each of which has its own cockpit and each one can drive a helicopter or act as weapons officer or operator of a crane. Cockpits are mounted on a movable joint that allows push and turn the cab off the machine axis and extend the pilot's field of view. This maneuver is used either for better control of the crane when one of the pilots can turn his cab to the side so he can observe space behind the machine, while the second pilot is dedicated to flight control. When landing or taking off from enemy territory movable cockpits can be used to extend the tactical superiority of the helicopter crew and help them become more informed about the area. You will find the items in Character, Light, Pose and Props folders named Dragonfly Helicopter. Geometries, Textures and Reflection Maps are stored in respective folders. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: The model consists of one poser figure with several bodyparts for varying look and purpose of vehicle. Further there are several smart prop, which can further enhance or alternate the look of model. These are either interior equipment like seat, deck cases or miniguns or exterior position light glares. Model can be used either with static propeller body parts with high velocity setting for rotating, which is sutitable mostly for animation. The second possibility is hide propeller body parts with mat pose and load blurred propellers smart props, which is more suitable for still image renders. All other moving parts can be access either form "body" bodyparts as ERC channels or from direct dials in particular body part. There limit set for all dials, not necessary dials are hidden. There is morph in "crane" body part for extending the lenght of crane cable. Rear miniguns have morphs for elevating them at the racks. Model is completely UV mapped. For certain parts of models are provided texture templates, other material zones are textured by procedural materials or by tiled textures and templates are not applicable for them. Tiled textures and procedural materials may need adjustments in DAZ studio, Carrara or other 3d applications. All poser props have extracted geometry to obj. mesh files which you can use for importing to other modeling or rendering application.
